TCSA and Christensen both started with simple and humble beginnings. 

TCSA’s first meeting occurred at the Emerald Queen Casino, where only 5 Tribes were represented. Today TCSA has since grown to include over 40 tribes spanning multiple states! 

Christensen was founded in 1980 when Gary and Annette Christensen sold almost everything they owned and purchased R.E. Powell Distributing in Grandview, WA. The Christensen family began providing fuel to gas stations, and card lock sites throughout Central Washington, all while raising 5 boys. 

Today, nearly 40 years later, Christensen supplies fuel, lubricants, and propane across the entire Pacific Northwest, to businesses of all shapes and sizes! We are now headquartered in Richland, WA, and all 5 of the Christensen Sons are actively involved in the business and ensuring that Christensen is around to serve our communities for generations to come!

Christensen proudly supports TCSA and is dedicated to helping grow the tribal community.  Our goal is to provide the right product when you need it, where you need it, and to treat you like part of the family along the way. We are the fuel partner helping TCSA members identify new opportunities to grow and strengthen their tribal business!
